Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child's use of ARZEN devices, camera features, AI features, wellness insights, and connected services. ARZEN may process such data to provide features requested by you, including capture, display, storage, AI analysis, transcription, scene understanding, summaries, or sharing features.

You must not use ARZEN devices to secretly record, surveil, harass, identify, profile, or monitor any person in violation of law or reasonable expectations of privacy. You must not use ARZEN devices in restricted, sensitive, private, or prohibited areas where recording is not allowed.

ARZEN may process AI inputs and outputs using ARZEN systems and authorised third-party AI infrastructure. AI features may be inaccurate, biased, incomplete, or unsuitable for important decisions. ARZEN does not use AI outputs as professional medical, legal, financial, emergency, safety, or regulated advice. You should not include highly sensitive, confidential, or third-party personal data in AI inputs unless you have authority and consent to do so.

3. Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to ARZEN hardware products purchased directly from ARZEN or authorised sales channels, including smart rings, smart glasses, charging accessories, batteries where supplied, cases, cables, and replacement units. This policy is subject to applicable consumer-protection law and any product-specific warranty terms displayed at checkout or in the product documentation.

3.1 Limited Warranty Coverage

Unless a different warranty period is stated at the time of purchase, ARZEN provides a limited hardware warranty of twelve months from the date of delivery for the main ARZEN device and six months from the date of delivery for charging accessories supplied with the device. This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship under normal consumer use and in accordance with ARZEN instructions.

3.2 What ARZEN May Do Under Warranty

  • Diagnose the device remotely or request logs, photos, videos, proof of purchase, serial number, order ID, or other information needed to verify the issue.
  • Repair the defective product or part.
  • Replace the product with a new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent unit.
  • Provide a refund only where repair or replacement is unavailable, unsuitable, or required by applicable law.

Any replacement unit may continue under the remaining original warranty period or receive such additional warranty period as required by law or stated by ARZEN at the time of replacement.

3.3 Warranty Exclusions

  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, dents, cosmetic fading, plating changes, colour variation, strap wear, coating wear, and aesthetic changes that do not affect core functionality.
  • Battery degradation within expected limits or reduced battery life caused by usage patterns, charging habits, temperature, age, firmware, settings, or third-party chargers.
  • Damage from accident, misuse, abuse, impact, bending, crushing, exposure to excessive force, drops, fire, liquid beyond rated limits, corrosion, chemicals, sweat damage beyond rated limits, or improper storage.
  • Damage caused by unauthorised repair, modification, opening, tampering, jailbroken/rooted devices, unsupported firmware, third-party accessories, or non-ARZEN chargers where such charger caused the damage.
  • Loss, theft, misplacement, unauthorised use, data loss, account compromise, or damage caused by malware, hacking, or user negligence.
  • Issues caused by unsupported phones, operating systems, third-party apps, app-store restrictions, network outages, Bluetooth interference, permissions being disabled, or user settings.
  • Products purchased from unauthorised sellers, counterfeit products, altered serial numbers, missing proof of purchase, or products used for commercial, rental, resale, institutional, or abnormal use without written approval.

3.4 Water Resistance and Environmental Limits

Water resistance is not the same as waterproofing and may reduce over time due to wear, impact, chemicals, heat, or unauthorised repair. ARZEN products must be used only within the water, dust, temperature, charging, and environmental limits stated in the relevant product documentation. Damage caused by use outside those limits is not covered unless required by law.

3.5 How to Claim Warranty

To make a warranty claim, contact ARZEN at contact@arzen.ai or +91 8197710324 with your order ID, invoice, product serial number, description of issue, photos or videos if applicable, and contact details. ARZEN may require inspection before approving a repair, replacement, or refund.

3.6 Data Before Service

Before sending any product for service, you should sync or back up available data, unpair devices if requested, remove personal content where possible, and disable device locks where required for repair. ARZEN is not responsible for loss of data, settings, content, or integrations during service except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

3.7 Statutory Rights

This Warranty Policy does not limit any mandatory rights available under applicable consumer-protection, product-liability, warranty, or sale-of-goods laws. If any warranty limitation is not permitted by law, it applies only to the maximum extent permitted.

4. Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies to purchases of ARZEN hardware, accessories, app-linked devices, subscriptions, and digital services made directly from ARZEN or through ARZEN-controlled checkout flows. Purchases made through third-party marketplaces, authorised retailers, Apple App Store, Google Play, or payment processors may also be subject to their separate return, refund, cancellation, and billing rules.

| Important ARZEN Ring Order Rule Once an ARZEN Ring order is placed, the order cannot be cancelled. Once the ring colour, finish, or size is confirmed, it cannot be changed. This restriction applies because ARZEN Ring orders may be processed, allocated, packed, customised, reserved, or scheduled for fulfilment immediately after confirmation. This restriction does not limit rights available for defective products, wrong products, damaged deliveries, failed delivery, warranty claims, or any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. | | :---- |

4.1 Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed when payment is authorised, an order ID is generated, or ARZEN otherwise confirms the order through the website, app, email, WhatsApp, SMS, or checkout page. ARZEN may reject, cancel, or refund an order before dispatch if payment fails, fraud is suspected, product is unavailable, the order contains errors, delivery is not serviceable, regulatory restrictions apply, or ARZEN is legally required to do so.

4.2 Cancellation Policy

  • ARZEN Ring orders cannot be cancelled once placed.
  • Confirmed ring colour, finish, and size cannot be changed after confirmation.
  • For other ARZEN products, cancellation may be permitted only if ARZEN expressly allows cancellation in the checkout flow or before the order has entered processing, packing, customisation, allocation, or dispatch.
  • Cancellation requests must be made through the official ARZEN support channel. A cancellation request is not accepted unless ARZEN confirms acceptance in writing.
  • ARZEN may cancel an order and issue a refund where ARZEN cannot fulfil the order, the product is unavailable, there is a pricing or listing error, payment is reversed, fraud is suspected, or delivery becomes impossible.

4.3 Returns for Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

You should inspect the product promptly upon delivery. If the product is damaged on arrival, materially defective, dead on arrival, missing essential components, or different from the item ordered, contact ARZEN within seven days of delivery or within such longer period as required by applicable law. ARZEN may request photos, videos, unboxing evidence, invoice, serial number, packaging, and diagnostic information before approving a return, repair, replacement, or refund.

4.4 Conditions for Approved Returns

  • The product must be returned with original accessories, charging equipment, manuals, packaging, invoices, and any free items where reasonably possible.
  • The product must not be damaged by misuse, unauthorised repair, tampering, exposure beyond rated limits, or user negligence.
  • The serial number, QR code, authenticity labels, and warranty identifiers must not be removed, altered, or defaced.
  • ARZEN may inspect and test returned products before approving replacement, repair, or refund.
  • If a returned product is found not to be defective, ARZEN may return it to you and may charge applicable shipping, inspection, or service costs where permitted by law.

4.5 Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by law or expressly approved by ARZEN, the following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • ARZEN Ring orders where the customer seeks cancellation, colour change, finish change, size change, preference change, or return due to change of mind after order confirmation.
  • Products damaged due to misuse, accident, unauthorised modification, unauthorised repair, liquid exposure beyond rated limits, chemicals, impact, or failure to follow instructions.
  • Products with missing serial numbers, missing accessories, missing invoices, altered labels, or incomplete return packaging where such missing items prevent verification or resale.
  • Used hygiene-sensitive wearable products where return is requested for change of mind and the product is not defective.
  • Gift cards, promotional items, downloadable content, activated digital services, and subscription periods already consumed, except where refund is required by law or platform policy.

4.6 Refund Method and Timeline

Approved refunds will generally be made to the original payment method unless another method is required by the payment provider, app store, bank, or law. Refund timelines depend on the bank, card network, UPI provider, wallet, Apple App Store, Google Play, payment gateway, or processor involved. Shipping fees, cash-on-delivery charges, convenience fees, payment gateway charges, and handling charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to ARZEN error, defective product, damaged delivery, failed delivery, or applicable law requires otherwise.

4.7 Subscriptions and App-Linked Purchases

Subscription cancellations, renewals, refunds, and billing disputes may be handled by Apple App Store, Google Play, or third-party payment processors where the subscription was purchased through them. ARZEN may not be able to directly cancel or refund app-store purchases. Users in India may be required to complete authentication or mandate steps under applicable recurring-payment rules.

4.8 Failed Delivery, Refused Delivery, and Incorrect Address

If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, refusal to accept delivery, non-payment, or failure to complete delivery verification, ARZEN may reship, cancel, or refund the order after deducting applicable shipping, handling, payment, or reverse-logistics charges where permitted by law.

4.9 Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy limits rights available under applicable law for defective goods, deficient services, unfair trade practices, product liability, delayed fulfilment, wrong product delivery, damaged product delivery, or other rights that cannot be excluded. Where this policy conflicts with mandatory law, mandatory law will prevail.

5. Safety Manual

This Safety Manual applies to ARZEN smart rings, smart glasses, chargers, cables, batteries, sensors, camera-enabled devices, app-connected devices, and related accessories. Read this manual before using any ARZEN product. Failure to follow safety instructions may cause injury, discomfort, product damage, data loss, warranty exclusion, or legal risk.

5.1 General Use

  • Use ARZEN products only for their intended consumer wellness, lifestyle, productivity, and convenience purposes.
  • Do not use ARZEN products in a way that distracts you from driving, cycling, walking in hazardous areas, operating machinery, handling tools, crossing roads, or performing safety-critical tasks.
  • Keep devices and accessories away from infants, small children, and pets. Small parts may present choking or ingestion risks.
  • Do not open, crush, burn, puncture, bend, modify, microwave, or attempt unauthorised repair of any ARZEN device, battery, charger, or accessory.
  • Do not use a damaged, swollen, unusually hot, cracked, leaking, corroded, or malfunctioning product.

5.2 Smart Ring Safety

  • Ensure the ring fits comfortably and is not too tight. Remove the ring if you experience pain, swelling, numbness, tingling, restricted circulation, skin irritation, or discomfort.
  • Remove the ring before activities where it may be caught, crushed, exposed to high impact, exposed to chemicals, or exposed to excessive pressure.
  • Remove the ring if your finger swells due to heat, exercise, injury, pregnancy, medical conditions, or other reasons.
  • Sensor readings may be affected by fit, skin contact, movement, tattoos, moisture, temperature, and charging status.

5.3 Smart Glasses Safety

  • Do not allow displays, notifications, AI prompts, or camera functions to distract you in traffic, crowded spaces, restricted areas, industrial environments, or hazardous locations.
  • Stop use if you experience headache, eye strain, dizziness, nausea, disorientation, visual discomfort, motion sensitivity, or photosensitivity symptoms.
  • Do not use smart glasses while driving, cycling, operating machinery, flying aircraft, handling weapons, or performing tasks requiring full situational awareness unless the product is expressly approved for that use and local law permits it.
  • Use camera and recording features only where lawful and respectful of privacy. Obtain consent where required.

5.4 Battery and Charging Safety

  • Use only ARZEN-approved chargers, cables, charging cases, power supplies, or accessories, or third-party accessories that meet applicable safety standards and product requirements.
  • Charge products in a dry, ventilated area away from bedding, flammable materials, heat sources, liquids, and direct sunlight.
  • Do not charge a wet, damaged, unusually hot, swollen, or leaking product.
  • Stop charging immediately if you notice smoke, burning smell, sparks, swelling, leakage, cracking, abnormal heat, or unusual noise.
  • Do not sleep with a product charging on your body or under pillows, blankets, or clothing.

5.5 Skin Contact and Allergies

Wearable devices may cause irritation, pressure marks, rashes, or allergic reactions in some users. Keep wearable products clean and dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, abrasive cleaners, perfumes, lotions, sanitiser residue, or oils on areas that contact the device. Stop using the product and consult a doctor if irritation, swelling, burning, pain, blistering, or allergic reaction occurs.

5.6 Water, Dust, Heat and Environment

Use ARZEN products only within the environmental limits stated in the product documentation. Water resistance may reduce over time and is affected by impact, chemicals, soaps, salt water, pool water, pressure, heat, steam, and unauthorised repair. Do not expose products to saunas, steam rooms, high-pressure water, corrosive liquids, or temperatures outside stated limits unless expressly permitted.

5.7 Medical and Wellness Safety

ARZEN products are not medical devices unless expressly stated. Do not rely on ARZEN products for medical diagnosis, treatment, emergency detection, disease monitoring, medication decisions, or professional medical advice. Contact emergency services in an emergency. Consult a physician before use if you have a pacemaker, implanted device, cardiovascular condition, epilepsy, photosensitivity, skin condition, sleep disorder, pregnancy-related concern, or any relevant medical condition.

5.8 Camera, Audio and Recording Safety

Camera and recording-capable products must be used lawfully and respectfully. Do not record in private spaces, restricted areas, sensitive locations, workplaces, schools, hospitals, places of worship, government facilities, courts, airports, locker rooms, restrooms, changing areas, or any location where recording is prohibited or inappropriate.

5.9 E-Waste Disposal

ARZEN devices contain electronic components, sensors, batteries, charging accessories, and other electrical or electronic parts that must not be disposed of with regular household waste. Dispose of ARZEN hardware responsibly and in compliance with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, and other applicable environmental laws. Use authorised e-waste collection centres, authorised recyclers, take-back channels, or ARZEN-designated recycling programmes wherever available.

5.10 Emergency and Incident Reporting

If an ARZEN product overheats, leaks, causes injury, catches fire, emits smoke, or presents a safety risk, stop using it immediately, disconnect power if safe, move away from flammable materials, and contact ARZEN at contact@arzen.ai or +91 8197710324. For immediate danger, contact emergency services first.

6.1 Nature of AI Outputs

ARZEN AI features may analyse user prompts, voice commands, images, video frames, sensor data, wellness trends, device context, location context where enabled, and app interactions to generate outputs. AI systems can make mistakes, misinterpret context, omit important information, produce biased outputs, hallucinate facts, or provide outputs that are not suitable for your circumstances.

6.2 No Professional Advice

AI outputs are not medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, mental-health, emergency, security, employment, insurance, regulatory, or professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals for decisions in those areas. In a medical, safety, or security emergency, contact emergency services immediately.

6.3 High-Risk and Prohibited Reliance

  • Do not use AI outputs to diagnose, treat, prevent, or monitor disease or to make medication, emergency, or clinical decisions.

  • Do not use AI outputs to identify, profile, track, surveil, harass, discriminate against, or make consequential decisions about another person.
  • Do not use AI outputs where an error could cause injury, property damage, legal breach, financial loss, or violation of privacy.

6.4 User Responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing, verifying, and deciding whether to rely on AI outputs. You remain responsible for your actions, messages, recordings, uploads, decisions, and consequences arising from use of AI features.

6.5 Data Entered into AI Features

Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential information, third-party data, private images, private recordings, passwords, financial credentials, medical records, government IDs, or proprietary information into AI features unless you have authority and consent and understand the privacy implications. AI data processing is governed by the ARZEN Privacy Policy.

6.6 Availability and Updates

AI features may change, improve, degrade, be restricted, be disabled, or be discontinued at any time. ARZEN may update AI models, filters, prompts, safety systems, and feature availability without guaranteeing continuity or identical outputs.

7. Camera and Recording Notice

This Camera and Recording Notice must be shown during onboarding for ARZEN smart glasses and any ARZEN product capable of capturing photos, videos, audio, voice commands, image frames, environmental data, or similar recording data.

7.1 Consent and Legal Responsibility

You are solely responsible for determining whether recording, photographing, streaming, analysing, storing, sharing, or transmitting content is lawful in your location and situation. You must obtain consent where required before recording or processing another person's image, voice, likeness, biometric data, personal data, confidential information, or private activity.

7.2 Restricted and Sensitive Areas

You are responsible for content you capture or share using ARZEN products. ARZEN may remove, restrict, report, or preserve content where required by law, platform rules, court order, user complaint, or the ARZEN Terms and Conditions.

7.5 Recording Indicators and Device Controls

Where ARZEN products include recording indicators, shutter sounds, lights, app prompts, or recording controls, you must not cover, disable, tamper with, bypass, or misrepresent them. Recording indicators do not remove your obligation to obtain consent where required.

7.6 Workplace and Institutional Use

If you use ARZEN products in a workplace, school, event, hospital, laboratory, factory, aircraft, public authority, or other institution, you must comply with that institution's device, recording, confidentiality, safety, and data-protection policies. 8.2 Apple Tracking and Third-Party Advertising

If ARZEN uses data to track users across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising, measurement, or brokered data purposes, Apple tracking disclosures and consent prompts may be required. If ARZEN does not use cross-app or cross-site tracking, app privacy details should be configured accordingly. This must be verified against all SDKs before submission.

8.4 Google Play Data Safety Statements \- Draft

  • Data is encrypted in transit where supported by the app, operating system, platform, and service provider.
  • Users may request deletion of eligible account and personal data through the ARZEN app or by contacting ARZEN support.
  • Some data is required for account creation, device pairing, app security, warranty, order fulfilment, subscriptions, legal compliance, or core wearable functionality.
  • Some data is optional and collected only when users enable features such as health integrations, location, camera, microphone, notifications, or AI analysis.
  • Final Data safety answers must be reviewed after all SDKs, analytics tools, payment providers, crash tools, AI providers, and permissions are locked for release.

8.5 Google Play Health Apps Declaration \- Draft Notes

Because ARZEN may provide wellness, sleep, activity, wearable, and health-integration features, ARZEN should review and complete the Google Play Health apps declaration if the app falls within Google Play health, fitness, medical, or health-data policy scope. ARZEN should clearly position the app as wellness and lifestyle unless a specific regulated medical use is approved. The Privacy Policy should accurately describe collection, use, sharing, retention, and deletion of health and fitness data.

9. Implementation Checklist

Before publishing these policies, ARZEN should complete the following operational steps.

  • Confirm legal entity name, registered office, GST details where applicable, and support/grievance contacts across the app, website, invoices, and policies.
  • Confirm appointment of Rohan Verma or another authorised person as Grievance Officer and ensure the contact channel is monitored.
  • Create in-app consent screens for Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, AI Feature Disclaimer, Camera and Recording Notice, health integrations, location, camera, microphone, Bluetooth, and notifications.
  • Add the ARZEN Ring checkout notice: "Once an ARZEN Ring order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. Once colour, finish, or size is confirmed, it cannot be changed."
  • Add a final pre-payment confirmation screen for ring colour, finish, size, price, shipping address, warranty, no-cancellation rule, and expected delivery timeline.
  • Map every SDK and vendor to the Privacy Policy and app-store declarations, including analytics, crash reporting, cloud hosting, AI, payments, notifications, health integrations, logistics, and customer support.
  • Create user flows for account deletion, consent withdrawal, data export/access, correction, erasure, grievance requests, and support escalation.
  • Create battery, water resistance, skin contact, overheating, and camera safety warnings in packaging, quick-start guides, app onboarding, and support pages.
  • Set up e-waste and battery take-back or authorised recycling pathways where required for Indian hardware sales.
  • Have counsel review the Return and Refund Policy to ensure the no-cancellation rule is implemented in a way that does not conflict with mandatory consumer-protection rights.
